Both of these studies come on the heels of a report released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that suggested that nearly one in five middle-aged and older adults have at least one type of oral cancer, which is the second highest recorded reason behind death for that generation.
Along with these two studies the dangers of E-Liquids appear to go together with other reports about the dangers of E-Liquids. A study published in June of 2021 in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that there was a solid trend of increasing risk with the use of e-juices, especially for young adults. The study defined e-liquid use as any liquid that contains caffeine, chocolates, lecithin, or flavors of tobacco, or that tout themselves as “iquid candy.” The report continued to say these products were a leading reason behind unintentional deaths among middle-aged and older adults.
Many publications have written articles about the dangers of E-Liquids, and most of these address the dangers of E-Liquids directly to young adults who are all too often the ones that get swept up in the vaporizers craze. Because of these articles many teens and young adults no longer feel as if they have to hide their cigarettes as they once did.
